Each year, students observe our mascot Woody Woodchuck’s birthday on Groundhog Day. (During school hours)
Kenwood Conversations: Site Council Speaker Series - ScreenAgers viewing & Group conversation
Please save the date for an important evening screening of the documentary ScreenAgers, followed by group discussion on Thursday, January 22nd, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Please join for the second in the series of three community conversations hosted by Kenwood's Site Council focused on technology, social media, and raising healthy children, facilitated by Kenwood staff. Childcare will be provided.
Open House for Prospective Families (in-person)

Join us in the lunchroom on Dec. 9 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Meet Principal Heidi Johnson and members of the PTA, learn about curriculum and arts residencies, and enjoy light refreshments. To RSVP, please call 612-668-2760 or email victoria.johnson@mpls.k12.mn.us.
You can also register for a tour from 10:30 am to 11:30 am to accompany the open house.

Dining for Dollars - Cafe Latte
Dining for Dollars at Cafe Latte – Over the river & through the Lowry tunnel to Cafe Latte we will go! Join us across the river in St. Paul on Tuesday, November 25th at Cafe Latte on Grand Avenue from 5-10pm to celebrate National Cake Day while raising money for Kenwood. Grab a soup, salad, sandwich or pizza for dinner and finish with a slice of cake. 10% of the proceeds will be donated!
Kenwood Conversations: Site Council Speaker Series - Technology, Social Media & Raising Healthy Children

Shop & Social at Moona Moono – Have you been to the new coffee shop & retail experience that celebrates Asian American & Asian Culture? Well, now is your chance to check it out while supporting Kenwood School. Moona Moono has invited us to do a Kenwood Shop & Social on November 15th from 6-8 pm. Stop in for a drink, pick up a holiday gift or just socialize with others from the Kenwood Community. 10% of the proceeds from the event will benefit Kenwood

Parent & Caregiver Night Out
Join us for a Parent and Caregiver Night Out on Monday, October 28th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Red Cow Uptown! The PTA is providing free appetizers and a cash bar will be available. We’ll also have prizes! Even better, free childcare for children ages 5 and up is provided at the Kenwood Rec Center from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where kids will enjoy pizza and a movie. Please remember to RSVP for childcare by Friday, October 24th.
Woody Woodchuck’s Fun Run (1K)
Join us for Woody Woodchuck's Fun Run (1K) on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Students will walk by grade level around the perimeter of Kenwood Park. Fall Food Truck: Donuts and Apples!
North Star Food Truck will set up at dismissal time on Franklin Ave (between school and Kenwood Park). Donuts and local apples will be available for sale, with a portion of proceeds supporting our PTA.

Dining for Dollars: Red Cow Uptown
Help support Kenwood school by stopping by Red Cow Uptown for some tasty food. 10% of the sales from the day will be donated back to Kenwood PTA, which supports our arts residencies. Thank you to Red Cow Uptown for their donation.
